Sony Ericsson W660i

It's a candybar Walkman phone that looks like a combination between the company's W810i and K800i.Measuring a slim 14.5mm thick, this glossy, music-playing handset features 3G connectivity, video-calling capabilities and a 2-megapixel camera on the back. Inside there's the Walkman Player 2.0 software, which displays album art, and an FM radio if you get bored of your MP3s.

Nokia E61i

Unlike the E61 where you can distinctively feel the menu keys above the keyboard, on the E61i it's easier to press the wrong buttons since there's considerably less space between each key and the surface is rather flushed. The joystick on the E61 has also been replaced with a four-way rectangular pad with a central Enter key, which fortunately is just as efficient.

The QWERTY keyboard, other than having more breathing room between each key, remains largely similar to the earlier E61. What we don't quite fancy with the new buttons are the less pronounced feel. No matter, since we got over that soon enough and breezed our way through typing a full text message on the E61i.

The E61i comes with an onboard 2-megapixel camera.
On the rear lies the 2-megapixel camera that Nokia has included in this latest edition. Oddly, while there's Night mode and settings to adjust the white balance and color tone, there's no built-in LED light to act as a flash unit. Admittedly, the light output from an LED is poor in comparison to flash modules on standalone cameras. But this could have been helpful in providing some illumination for low-light situations. Nokia 6110 navigator

According to Nokia, the company is in talks with local telcos, which means we might see AGPS (Assisted Global Positioning System) with an always-on mobile connection to be available in the near future. The Nokia 6110 Navigator comes in either black or white.
Connectivity-wise, this quadband Navigator ships with 3G and HSDPA (High-speed Downlink Packet Access) capable of reaching speeds of up to 3.6Mbps. What's missing are wireless LAN and infrared. Fortunately, there's Bluetooth and push email, in addition to a Message reader function that reads emails or text messages aloud.

Motorola RAZR MAXX V6

The good: Large and bright screen; slim design; good build quality; support for super-fast 3G; crisp and sharp audio quality.
The bad: Non-standard predictive text; unintuitive menu system; touch buttons a bit slow to respond.
The bottom line: The Motorola RAZR MAXX V6 is a stylish handset that lets you access the Internet at speeds comparable to many people's home broadband connections. It also feels well built and has good music features. We just wish the menu system was easier to get your head around and that it used standard T9 predictive text instead of its own iTap system.

The bottom line: Despite some niggling design flaws and the lack of 3G support, the HP iPaq 510 Voice Messenger offers outstanding voice-command features as well as the enhanced productivity tools of Windows Mobile 6.

The good: Integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity; outstanding browser; built-in Webcam; sleek design; gorgeous screen; improved performance; multifunctional.
The bad: Video playback was subpar; no PC synchronization; relies solely on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for connectivity.

O2 Xda Atom Life

Outlook:
The Atom Life is without a doubt one of O2's most promising devices in its 2007 product lineup. In a nutshell, O2 is back with a vengeance, and it'll be interesting to see just how the market, and especially close rival Dopod, will react to the competition when the Atom Life launches in the next couple of months.
